Book of receits from Dr. Connell from the year 1742 to the year 1757 and from Mr. Morgan from the year 1757 to the year 1760 when Ly. Eliz: De Carne Marcieux died & also copies of all transactions since her death with her sister Ly. Phil: Connell, [1742-1760].

Manuscript, in multiple hands, of a collection of receipts and other records concerning payments to Lady Elizabeth Brownlow on her jointure. The manuscript is annotated throughout by Boyle and prefaced by an introduction in which Boyle explains his reasons for taking on "this troublesome tedious, and disagreable affair": "It may be asked then why I did act so contrary to my own inclination? I did it, at the request of his royal Highness Frederick the late prince of Wales. He desird me, in a most pressing, and a most condescending manner, to interpose between Lady Betty Brownlow and Ruin."
